New employee joins to help with increased workload!

With business booming Third Planet Exploration Services (3PXS) is expanding! Aidan Kitchener is an enthusiastic Exploration Geochemist with a Masters` degree from Camborne School of Mines in Cornwall, United Kingdom. This part of the world has long been a source region of miners and geologists who have spread new ideas, traditions and expertise around the globe for centuries.

Aidan has recently joined the team, on a full-time basis, here at 3PXS. With a passion for applied geochemistry, he brings experience through his M.Sc. thesis entitled “Stream Sediment Sampling in the Dolgellau Gold Belt, North Wales, UK: An Orientation Study to Enable High-Quality Data Collection for Target Generation”. This study involved use of the industry-leading software ioGAS to compare geochemical analysis methods and interpret legacy data from stream sediment samples taken within the orogenic gold belt. After working on field exploration projects in the UK, including a drill program in Scotland, Aidan connected with 3PXS in May 2022 for some part-time work on mineral exploration projects in Europe and North America. When he is not working for 3PXS, he can be found hiking, mountain biking and go-karting.

The increase in personnel will help boost the growing number of geochemical data interpretations at 3PXS, which currently span more than 40 exploration gold, silver, copper, lithium, cobalt, lead-zinc and nickel projects across Europe, North America, Asia and Africa. This work means that 3PXS is a technical leader in maximising value from geochemical data for critical minerals and battery metals. It will also enable us to increase our involvement in more widespread mineral exploration management consulting, allowing Simon to dedicate more time to non-executive level technical advisor and mentoring roles at several small to mid-sized exploration companies.
